Starkly repetitive and powerfully energetic,  NUTCRUSHER  looks at sexual objectification and power. Award-winning choreographer Sung Im Her is joined on stage by experienced dancers Martha Pasakopoulou and Yen-Ching Lin. 

The making of NUTCRUSHER was inspired by the slow but dramatic arrival of the #metoo movement in Korea. Severely repressed at first, the movement had an explosive cultural effect when allegations eventually started to surface. Informed by this, the work also draw on experiences of being looked at in unnerving and disempowering ways, drawing our attention to the gaze, how we look and what affect that may have. Commissioned by Arts Council Korea
